During Gallery Weekend Berlin, KWADRAT Gallery in Kreuzberg becomes a playful “Ponyhof”—a small idyll inside a former carriage depot. A group exhibition of 40 Berlin-based artists unfolds along old brick walls, with straw-covered floors and sculptural horse manure evoking a pony-like atmosphere. “Ponyhof” celebrates the joy, freedom, and wild energy of art—despite market pressures—inviting artists to respond to a childlike bubble of happiness, echoing the German saying “Life is not a pony farm.”
