Lucila Biscione

Lucila Biscione. A visual artist working mainly with paper, exploring light, shadow, and volume. Born in Buenos Aires and currently based in Berlin, her practice investigates the transformative possibilities between material, process, and narrative. She is inspired by natural forms, repetition, and the quiet emotional depth found in simple gestures and materials. To Lucila, volume is something that confronts and challenges us, whether through its weight or lightness, or its transparency or solidity. It occupies and transforms space, altering our perception of matter and the way we relate to it. Texture, on the other hand, is a surface-trigger that activates perception and awakens rhythms, memories and sounds. Depending on what is perceived, it has the power to provoke movement in the hands: caressing, touching, or even hiding
