Artists-in-Residence: Current Positions

Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Kottbusser Straße 10/d, 10999, Berlin

September 10, 2026 – November 15, 2026

What happens when the orders by which we conceive of time, bodies and the world around us falter? The current exhibitions at Künstlerhaus Bethanien gather artistic positions that trace the traces, gaps and power structures inscribed in scientific, political and cultural systems. Iden Sungyoung Kim and Lesia Vasylchenko explore how technology, war and memory change our perception of history and time. Esther Yi-Chun Lin follows material and embodied traces of past stories, while Kent Chan imagines a future in which climate and weather become formable systems. Francisco González-Rosas asks about the body as a surface redefined by data and technology. Reed Still examines documents as places where language shapes and consolidates social hierarchies and class relations.
