The exhibition Black, Green, Pink shows the artists Nandi Loaf, Frances Scholz and R.H. Quaytman and addresses today's relationship between image and reality. It is about the use of color and formations resulting from movements that generate pictorial spaces while questioning them at the same time. Starting from abstract painting as a historical art form with emancipatory demands and ideologically shaped limitations, Black, Green, Pink transfers their once revolutionary impetus into an artificial present. The works on display open up a space that deals with the fetishization of the hermetic character of artistic practice as well as the structures of the art world.
