n.b.k. - Neuer Berliner Kunstverein (NBK), Chausseestraße 128-129, 10115, Berlin
September 10, 2026 – November 8, 2026
The Neue Berliner Kunstverein (n.b.k.) presents the first exhibition of the Berlin director and author Christoph Hochhäusler (*1972 in Munich). His award-winning works are an expression of aesthetic, social and political interests that unite in a genuinely cinematic vanishing point. His new short film ›Das Paradies vertriebt uns‹ (2026) places photographs from the 1950s and 1960s, which Hochhäusler found at a Berlin flea market, into a narrative structure. The exhibition also presents documents and materials on Hochhäusler’s early and current works – including storyboards, set photos, film posters and editions of the magazine he co-founded ›Revolver‹ (since 1998) – and provides insight into the oeuvre of an uncompromising cineaste. Accompanying the presentation in the n.b.k. showroom will take place from 3.-24.
