The discussion event "Not really a local, not really a foreigner" addresses the feeling of alienation and identity that many people feel when they live away from their place of birth or are perceived as foreigners due to their origin. The event invites you to share thoughts and observations about standing between countries, homeland and cultures. The aim is to listen to different perspectives and learn from each other in order to deal with questions of identity and belonging. People without a migration history are also welcome to listen and participate in the discussions. The event will be co-organized and moderated by Gopika Nair, testing new methods to promote focused and meaningful conversations.
