This major exhibition is the first to explore Barbara Hepworth's lifelong fascination with colour, showcasing her innovative sculptures and drawings from the 1940s to the 1960s. It features around 20 sculptures and 30 exceptional drawings, highlighting her pioneering use of colour in sculpture. Hepworth's work, inspired by nature and the landscapes of Cornwall, is presented in a new light, emphasizing the expressive role of colour in her art. The exhibition includes key works from public and private collections, many of which have never been shown together before, providing a fresh perspective on one of the 20th century's most celebrated artists.
