Kerstin Brätsch | Die Sein: Para Psychics Expanded (Excerpt)

On the occasion of Berlin Art Week, Galerie Thomas Schulte is pleased to present Kerstin Brätsch in the gallery's Corner Space. The artist follows the invitation to use the distinctive corner room with a presentation specially developed for the place. The exhibition combines three wall-mounted panels with drawings from the series ›Para Psychics‹ and illustrates Brätsch's understanding of drawing as a spatial medium that develops in the work process. The presentation is complemented by a site-specific intervention in which the artist extends her characteristic visual language to the floors and windows of the gallery and transforms the exhibition space into an immersive environment.
