Almine Rech presents Leonora Carrington's first solo exhibition in Paris, from September 8 to October 10, 2026, in collaboration with Consejo Leonora Carrington and rossogranada. The exhibition explores all of the artist's mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, tapestry and writing. It highlights art as a process of transmutation, where beings change state and boundaries become porous. Carrington's cosmology is populated by dragons, horses, birds, hyenas and hybrid creatures, illustrating a permanent future. The exhibition also highlights the diversity of her practice, Carrington being both a writer and a visual artist, developing a polymorphic work. Almine Rech aims to reveal the richness and inexhaustibility of this artist's creation.
