The Metropolitan Museum of Art, 1000 5th Ave, 10028, New York City

July 1, 2026 – October 26, 2026

*P. S. Art* is an annual exhibition celebrating the creativity and achievement of New York City public school students and their art teachers. Now in its 24th year and 19th year at The Met, the juried show presents 125 works selected from nearly 1,000 submissions by students from prekindergarten through grade 12. The exhibition includes collages, drawings, paintings, photographs, prints, sculptures, and mixed-media works by students from all five boroughs and District 75, which serves students with disabilities. Together, the artworks reflect imagination, skill, careful observation, and the development of artistic thinking over time. The exhibition also highlights the vital role of art educators, whose guidance helps students build technical ability, confidence, and creative expression. More broadly, *P. S. Art* underscores the value of sustained arts education in supporting student growth, creativity, and self-discovery.
