**Peel Off** at CAMERA WORK explores the unique artistic qualities of Polaroid photography through a selection of 100 one-of-a-kind works by internationally acclaimed photographers, including Helmut Newton, Peter Beard, Rankin, and Albert Watson. Spanning fashion, portraiture, nude studies, and conceptual photography, the exhibition highlights the immediacy and distinctive visual language of the Polaroid medium. The works capture intimate moments, iconic subjects, and experimental approaches, while emphasizing the material qualities, subtle color variations, and individual artistic signatures that make each piece unique. The exhibition's title refers to the classic peel-apart Polaroid process, in which the negative was physically separated from the developed positive image. This act of revealing the photograph becomes a metaphor for the emergence of the artwork itself—an original object that exists as a singular, unreproducible image.
