›Red Yellow Blue Dust‹ is Sabine Moritz's first exhibition in the gallery. With twelve large-format canvases in groups of three, the artist's first quadrophonic oil painting, a small-format still life and a selection of early works on paper, she offers a miniature retrospective of her diverse oeuvre. Moritz works abstractly and figuratively and paints or draws on canvas and paper, in large and small formats as well as in bright or reduced shades. Her works, which at first glance appear to be incoherent, call for slow, intimate contemplation. Recurring motifs, figures and forms gradually emerge. Unexpected connections arise from the interplay of the works; Motifs and forms reverberate like fragments of memory.
