Salvo: La città

Sprüth Magers Berlin, Oranienburger Straße 18, 10178, Berlin

September 10, 2026 – October 24, 2026

Salvo was one of the most prominent voices of post-war Italian art. Initially connected to conceptual art and the circles around Arte Povera, he made the radical decision at the beginning of the 1970s to devote himself exclusively to painting. In doing so, he developed an independent work of luminous landscapes and city views, in which art-historical tradition and a deeply personal vision combine. On the occasion of Berlin Art Week, Sprüth Magers presents an exhibition of works by Salvo.
