Spotlight: Ever Baldwin

Vielmetter Los Angeles presents a Spotlight exhibition of recent works by New York-based artist Ever Baldwin, on view from May 30 to August 21, 2026. Baldwin’s paintings and sculptural works occupy a space between media, with biomorphic forms enclosed by hand-carved wooden frames that extend the image into multiple dimensions. Layering figure, landscape, and botanical elements, the works function like palimpsests in which forms overlap, obscure one another, and generate new compositions. Drawing on natural patterns, storytelling, and bodily perception, the exhibition includes works inspired by dissolving tablets, a waterfall, Catskills flora and invasive species, and even a pair of mittens made for ice skating.
