Marian Goodman Gallery, 385 Broadway, 10013, New York City

September 10, 2026 – October 24, 2026

Marian Goodman Gallery presents a solo exhibition of new work by Tony Cragg, showcasing his latest sculptures in bronze, wood, stone, and steel. This marks the gallery's first solo exhibition of the acclaimed British sculptor in its Tribeca space and the seventeenth solo exhibition with Cragg. Honored with the European Culture Prize in 2026, Cragg has spent over 50 years transforming diverse materials into unique sculptural forms. He views sculpture as a radical engagement with materials, challenging the monotony of conventional forms produced by modern production systems. Cragg emphasizes that sculpture, as a non-utilitarian practice, can generate new forms, ideas, and emotions, fostering freedom. His work navigates the boundaries between realism and abstraction, drawing inspiration from both natural and artificial forms, and continually reexamining the relationship between humanity and nature.
