Galerie Franka Löwe, Sakrower Landstraße 59, 14089, Berlin
July 3, 2026 – August 30, 2026
The sales exhibition ‘Sommer-Intermezzo: Dreamlike landscape watercolours” by Heinrich Köhler (1914-2017) shows watercolours of landscapes that were created before mass tourism. The exhibition runs from 3 July to 30 August 2026 and ends with the traditional art market in the garden. The works, which date from the 60s to the early 2000s, show colorful coastal landscapes from dream destinations such as Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, North Africa, Greece, Spain, France and Norway. Köhler, who travelled into old age, always captured his impressions with the easel and created hundreds of watercolours that take us back in time. Galerie Franka Löwe regularly offers works of art from its collection for sale, and this exhibition is particularly suitable for summer travel time. A new exhibition with Kladower artists will follow in September.
