For the first time at NOACK Galerie, **Siegfried Anzinger** presents a body of work comprising paintings, drawings, and sculptures dedicated to his homeland, rural Austria. Anzinger studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna from 1972 to 1977 under Maximilian Melcher. In 1981, he moved to Cologne. He was appointed Professor of Painting at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in 1998. Today, he lives and works in Vienna and Cologne and is a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences, Humanities and the Arts. During the 1990s, Anzinger created numerous bronze sculptures in collaboration with the Hermann Noack Foundry in Berlin.
