Katya Craftsova

Katya Craftsova is a Berlin-based conceptual artist working across printmaking, drawing, installation, moving image, and artistic research. Her practice combines material experimentation with research-based and site-specific approaches, often addressing social structures, power relations, housing, gender, and collective experience. Alongside participatory and socially engaged projects, her work includes graphic series and artist publications in which narrative, observation, and the material qualities of the image play a central role. Her work has been presented in the Parallel Programme of Manifesta 10, the Dakar Biennale, ARCO Madrid, and transmediale Vorspiel, among other contexts. She has received grants and residencies from the Goethe-Institut, the Hans and Charlotte Krull Foundation, and the FRESH A.I.R. program at Urban Nation Museum in Berlin.
