Sellerie Weekend - Open Studio

The Open Studio during Seller Weekend is an informal, welcoming format in which the artists of STUDIO BAUSTELLE present their work in an authentic and relaxed way. Rather than focusing solely on finished pieces, they open their workspaces to visitors and offer insight into their current processes — including works in progress, experiments, and unfinished ideas. Alongside this, artists may also display and sell prints, editions, or other works. The emphasis lies on transparency, exchange, and connection, inviting visitors to experience art beyond the final product. The format remains intentionally flexible: artists can further activate their spaces through performances, live actions, or spontaneous interventions. Friends and collaborators are also welcome to contribute — whether through music, performance, or other creative inputs. Overall, the Open Studio creates an open and lively atmosphere where process, presentation, and interaction naturally come together.
