The Pickle Bar is dedicated to an unusual form of knowledge production – one in which hospitality and discourse are inextricably linked. The non-profit art space in Moabit, Berlin, was founded jointly by the artistic director Anastasia Marukhina and the artist collective Slavs and Tatars and focuses on performative and discursive formats. Thematic programmes invite you to explore and invigorate the area between palate and tongue, combining art of speech, poetry and politics, exploring the boundaries of ideologies as well as the margins of belief systems in often overlooked areas of research with a focus on the Eurasia region.
